DI Gridiron Challenge 2009 Official Rules

Contest Starts: September 23, 2009 at 7:00 AM (Pacific) and ends Feb. 08, 2010 at 7:00 AM (Pacific)

Eligibility:  The 2009 Di Gridiron Challenge is open to all residents of the United States over the age of 18. Employees of The Daily Independent, its affiliates and family members are not eligible to win.

Entry Period: Entry acceptance will begin at 7:00 AM (Pacific), Wednesday, September 23, 2009, and ends Monday, February 8, 2010, at 7:00 AM (Pacific).

Online Entry: Visit The Daily Independent website at http://www.ridgecrestca.com  Complete the online entry form and all requested information. Registration is not limited to before the contest begins. Register anytime during the contest. Registration is free.

Selecting scores: You must select scores for upcoming games before the start of the first game that week. In most cases this will be Thursday evenings.

Winner Determination: Winners will be determined by the total number of point spread acquired. Points are acquired by getting closest to the actual scores of football games. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker from a selected game and the participants point spread chosen for that game will determine the winner. The person with the least amount of point spread for the week (Weekly Winner) and the season is considered the winner (Season Winner).
